STORAGE
Store in a dry environment.
Keep the valve completely open to avoid damaging the seats.
INSTALLATION
Handle with care.
Position the BIOFLUX valve between the ends of the threaded pipes and attach.
Heavy blows can cause damage or breakages and should be avoided where possible. If unavoidable, we recommend using elastic joints in order to reduce the effects.
At sub-zero temperatures fluid contained between the valve body and ball can freeze and cause irreparable damage.
If the valve is exposed to such conditions, we recommend thermally isolating it.
DISPOSAL
The BIOFLUX valve is 99% recyclable. When the valve is no longer usable, separate the different materials and take them to a recycling station. Alternatively, return the valve to the producer who will make sure the recyclable raw materials are used in the best way and that the valve gaskets are disposed of correctly.
*O-rings are disposed of as 'special waste'.
MAINTENANCE
Periodically disassemble the BIOFLUX valve to clean the steel filter.
The frequency of this operation depends on the impurities present in the fluid being used. In order to carry out this periodic maintenance follow the instructions below:

1-CLOSE THE VALVE 

2-REMOVE THE LOWER COVER

3-EXTRACT THE STEEL FILTER 

  

4-REMOVE ENCRUSTATION USING A DE-SCALING SOLUTION  

5-REINSERT THE FILTER KEEP ATTENTION TO THE PROFILE!

6-REATTACH THE LOWER COVER

7-OPEN THE VALVE
